Directions to Inn on Charlotte
Fly into Jacksonville (to our north 50 miles) or Daytona (to
our south 50 miles) on major airlines or into St.
Augustine/St. Johns County Airport (SGJ) - just a 10 minute
drive. Rental cars are available at all these airports.
Driving From Points North
Take I-95 to Exit 318 (SR 16) and head east on SR 16. At US
1 turn right, following US 1 South to the traffic light at W
Castillo Drive. Go left on W Castillo Drive and follow it to
the end. You'll see Ripleys Believe It or Not museum. Turn
right. Go to the second light, Cathedral Place, and turn
right. Go a very short distance to the first street, which
is Charlotte, and turn right. We are in the second block on
your left. Stop directly in front of the inn, come in the
front door and check-in, and then we will direct you to
parking.
Driving From Points South
Take I-95 to Exit 311 (SR 207), and head east. At US 1 turn
left, following US 1 north to the first traffic light. Turn
right onto King Street. Follow King Street .7 miles to
Charlotte Street. At the end of the town plaza, just before
the light at the waterfront, watch closely for a tiny street
to the left. This is where you turn left onto Charlotte
Street. We are in the second block on your left. Stop
directly in front of the inn, come in the front door and
check-in, and then we will direct you to parking. |
Parking is not a problem for guests
of Inn on Charlotte...
Guests of the Inn on Charlotte pull right into
our driveway to check-in. Just stop right at the front door
and come inside. We will then direct you to your assigned
parking space, which you will use for the duration of your
stay.
Charlotte Lot #1: From the Inn, continue down
Charlotte into the next block. On the left (just past
Stogey's and Gabriella's) turn left into the lot marked City
Lot #8. Make sure you park only in your assigned space
number in this lot.
Charlotte Lot #2 is one block before the Inn, so
after checking in, simply go back around the block and come
back. However, because of some tiny one-way streets, it is a
little trickier than it sounds. Here's how you do it: From
the Inn, continue down Charlotte past Hypolita Street (which
is one way going to your left) and turn right at the next
street. Go up one tiny block to Avenida Menendez and turn
right. Follow Menendez to the light at Cathedral and turn
right. Up one quick block to Charlotte and turn right again.
The lot is immediately on your left as your head up
Charlotte Street. You will see a guard shack at the
entrance. Just show your permit to the guard, then park
anywhere in the lot.
St George Lot #3: This lot is at the corner of St.
George St. and Cuna Street. From the Inn, go left at the
first street which is Hypolita. Follow it two short blocks
to Spanish Street and turn right. Go one block to Cuna
Street and turn right. The lot, which is marked City Lot #3,
is immediately on your left. Make sure you park only in your
assigned space in this lot. |
