We are in the ideal location for discovering the city's wonderful restaurants, shops, and attractions. The Inn on Charlotte is one historic house away from the Matanzas bay front. And we are 1050 feet from the historic fort, Castillo de San Marcos and just 600 feet to the Bridge of Lions.

Directions to Inn on Charlotte Fly into Jacksonville (to our north 50 miles) or Daytona (to our south 50 miles) on major airlines or into St. Augustine/St. Johns County Airport (SGJ) - just a 10 minute drive. Rental cars are available at all these airports.

Driving From Points North

Take I-95 to Exit 318 (SR 16) and head east on SR 16. At US 1 turn right, following US 1 South to the traffic light at W Castillo Drive. Go left on W Castillo Drive and follow it to the end. You'll see Ripley's Believe It or Not museum. Turn right. Go to the third traffic light, Cathedral Place, and turn right. Go a very short distance to the first street, which is Charlotte, and turn right. We are in the second block on your left. If you have luggage to drop, stop directly in front of the inn, put on your flashers, and come in the front door to drop them; and then go to the assigned parking. Please look for the parking process in your confirmation.

Driving From Points South

Take I-95 to Exit 311 (SR 207), and head east. At US 1 turn left, following US 1 north to the first traffic light. Turn right onto King Street. Follow King Street .7 miles to Charlotte Street. At the end of the town plaza, just before the light at the waterfront, watch closely for a tiny street to the left. This is where you turn left onto Charlotte Street. We are in the second block on your left. If you have luggage to drop, stop directly in front of the inn, put on your flashers, and come in the front door to drop them; and then go to the assigned parking. Please look for the parking process in your confirmation.

Parking

The room you booked has an assigned a parking space. So please simply pull to the curb out front of the Inn on Charlotte, turn on your hazard flasher, and come to the door. We will help you with your bags and give you a parking permit with a map to your assigned parking space. Leave the permit on your dashboard, and then come back to the inn to check-in. !!!Warning -There's no extra parking at or around the Inn. Unattended cars will be towed.

Lot #8: From the Inn, continue down Charlotte into the next block. On the left (just past Stogey's and Gabriella's) turn left into the lot. Make sure you park only in your assigned numbered space.
