Old St. Augustine Village is a St. Augustine attraction that every history lover must experience. The village is a collection of nine historic homes and buildings that were built in 18th and 19th centuries, five of which have galleries and museum exhibits within them. You can tour the Prince Murat House, the Rose House, the Dow House, among many others and browse through the beautiful gardens and courtyards of each. The Inn on Charlotte, our historic St. Augustine Bed and Breakfast is located right in the heart of St. Augustine’s historic places and very close to all the fun St. Augustine Attractions.
In addition to the several homes you can browse through in the Old St. Augustine Village, visitors can also view the 1572 town plan and check out the official archeological record of a real St. Augustine hospital and cemetery built in the 1500s. Tours are given each day from 10 to 4:30 and Sundays from 11 to 4:30, and each lasts approximately thirty minutes. The entrance to the village is on Cordova Street, south of the Casa Monica Hotel, and nearby to our St. Augustine FL Bed and Breakfast.
