The San Sebastian Winery

The San Sebastian Winery, which opened in 1996 as a partnership between Gary Cox and Family and Seavin, Inc., is St. Augustine’s only winery and a great place to stop in for a visit. Guests at the winery can tour the facility and enjoy a wine tasting of some of the more than 10 wine varieties.

While at the San Sebastian Winery you can enjoy a guided walking tour of the 18,000 square foot winery and learn about how the wine is made and aged to perfection. Tours typically last for about an hour and visitors enjoy being able to stop by the wine shop and stock up on the many varieties of wine the winery produces.

The San Sebastian Winery produces several hybrid wines and specializes in wines produced from a variety of different muscadine grapes. The San Sebastian Winery is one of the few locations in St. Augustine that sells its wines, however many of the local St. Augustine eateries and restaurants feature wine selections from the San Sebastian Winery.
