Package
The Inn on Charlotte is celebrating Babymooning
during 2008 for expectant parents before embarking
on parenthood. Owner Lynne Fairfield invites her
babymooning couples to enjoy one of the last chances
to savor a quiet dinner alone, to take a long
leisurely walk through St. Augustine’s historic
district, sleep late and indulge in a gourmet
breakfast. As a time to strengthen their bond before
the baby’s arrival, the Inn’s ‘babymoon’ guests will
be able to say "I Love You" on a romantic carriage
ride along the bayfront.

Inns of Elegance in St. Augustine, Florida invite
visiting couples to enjoy a romantic 2-hour sail
along the historic St. Augustine bayfront aboard the
Schooner Freedom as their guests from May 4 thru
November 19, 2008.
Take a step back in time and cruise through the
beautiful waterways when you stay at any of the Inns
of Elegance for two nights Sunday-Thursday at the
prevailing full-rate price per inn (not including
holiday or weekend periods). A complimentary bottle
of Champagne at the Inn begins your adventure upon
arrival. This promotion requires ‘advanced
reservations’. (Schooner Sail for Two & Champagne
= $100 value).
The TALL SHIP 72’ Topsail Schooner is a U.S. Coast
Guard certified sailing vessel, a replica of the
blockade runners that once cruised the famous waters
in the 19th century. She was built in Norfolk VA in
1982 by famed Naval architect Merritt Walters.
Guests can choose either a sunset 2-hour romantic
evening sail watching the dazzling sunset embracing
the City’s skyline – or - a midday cruise through
the Matanzas River soaking up the sun and watching
for dolphins and manatees. The Schooner Freedom
offers relaxing sails in which snacks, fruit, beer,
wine and soft drinks are included.
